NEW LECTURE: Optimization in structural dynamics and vibroacoustics
Calculating the acoustic behavior of a structure numerically is a common thing to do. Optimizing this structure with respect to certain acoustic criteria goes far beyond simple numerical analysis.
The Chair of Vibroacoustics of Vehicles and Machines offers a new lecture concerning the Optimization in Structural Dynamics and Vibroacoustics. This new lecture is offered in the summer term 2019 for the first time for master students. The lecture is held in German or in English, if desired by the students. Mathematical and numerical optimization methods are treated in this lecture. The hands-on oriented exercise lecture offers many possibilities for students to implement the presented optimization algorithms on their own and to analyze structures using common CAE software.
