DAGA 2017 in Kiel – Parameter Variations for a Porous Layer Simulation
At the German annual conference for acoustics the chair of vibroacoustics of vehicles and machines presented several topics. One of which was “Parameter Variations for a Porous Layer Simulation”:
The paper investigates models dealing with porous materials and the acoustical parameters regarding the topic. First the models are used on three simple test cases and later poroacoustics of absorber materials are studied by parameter sweeps and surf plots with the aim of understanding the physical parameters in the equivalent fluid models.
